  North Shore Sports and Wellness (NSSW) is a family business designed to provide the facilities and support to businesses in the sports, recreation, education and food prep business in the communities in which we live. As the proud owner-operator of the former Sheri L. Berto Center in Deerfield, IL (the former practice and office home of the Chicago Bulls), we understand the importance of providing championship quality services. NSSW is fortunate to be the permanent home to multiple stand-alone businesses, and many top-tier sports programs.

  550 Lake Cook Road has a rich history, originally opened in 1992 as the official home of the Champion Chicago Bulls. The structure was the first NBA facility designed and built by a franchise- setting the standard for all future NBA teams. The documentary, The Last Dance, features The Berto Center as the backdrop behind the series of NBA Championships culminating in the SIXTH Championship and Michael Jordan’s final appearance as a Chicago Bull. NSSW acquired the building moving from our Joy of the Game Sports Center. We have tried to recapture some of the Bulls' vibe with original memorabilia throughout the building. The main NSSW gym features two large basketball courts and three volleyball courts, with an additional basketball training area/additional volleyball court on the main level as well.  All activities on the courts can be observed courtside from the surrounding bleacher seating. Additionally, the building contains two other dedicated areas for stand-alone businesses, all with a focus on sports and wellness. The facility has its own wireless network, has a solid security system and offers parking areas on-site, as well as across the street in the corporate lot (if needed).
